Less Than Truckload - LTL

Traffix’s Less Than Truckload Service (LTL) is the most cost effective and efficient means of transporting smaller shipments that do not require a full trailer. Our Third Party Logistics LTL Service is available inbound and outbound across Canada and the U.S. border on 48 ft. and 53 ft. air ride, tailgate, and powergate flatbed trailers for shipments as small as a single palette. Traffix’s pricing options include freight quotations by pallet or linear foot instead of just weight or class.

  • 1P: 1 pallet 2,000 lbs max 4 ft x 4 ft, or 100 cubic feet
  • 2P: 2 pallet 4,000 lbs max
  • ¼ Truckload: ¼ truckload 12 ft or 11,500 lbs max, 3-6 pallets
  • ½ Truckload: ½ truckload 24 ft or 22,500 lbs max, 7-12 pallets
  • ¾ Truckload: ¾ truckload 32 ft or 32,000 lbs max, 13 -16 pallets

We boast one of the lowest freight loss ratios in the industry and there is very little chance for damage because your LTL freight is only handled once at our terminal in Milton, Ontario between the point of origin and point of destination.
Traffix’s LTL Service focuses on meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers. We provide:

  • Advance notification by phone or email with pickup and delivery times.
  • Verification that your shipment is ready so trucks are not kept waiting.
  • Updates via phone or email regarding the status of your shipment and its ETA.
  • Shipping and receiving hours are confirmed ahead of time.
  • Schedules are maintained by providing a quick in, quick out experience for LTL drivers with our in-house cross-docking services.
  • Bills of lading are faxed to shippers to expedite the process.
  • PRE PARS are completed - commercial invoices and bills of lading are sent directly to customs brokers in order to expedite the border crossing process.
